Wexford Football Club is an Irish association football club based in Crossabeg, County Wexford. They compete in the League of Ireland First Division. Ferrycarrig Park
Ferrycarrig Park has been the home of League of Ireland side Wexford Football Club since joining the league in 2007. The building works for the new stadium and facilities, at Newcastle, Crossabeg, have been ongoing since 2003. Spectator facilities consist of a clubhouse with viewing area and a 609 seater temporary stand. The plans for a permanent stand to seat over 2,000 people are in place. Building work is in progress on a fully equipped gym on the site. An application for retention of developments at the Wexford football complex was rejected by Wexford Planners in October 2007. Facilities The single temporary stand fully covers 609 seats and holds both home and away supporters. This stand replaced another un-covered temporary stand, on the opposite (south) side of the ground, from the start of the 2008 season. Pat Dolan
Patrick Dolan (born 20 September 1967) is an Irish former football player, manager, and executive. He is also a former soccer analyst on RTÉ Sport. He is a FIFA-registered players' agent and has represented a number of players based in the English Premier League and English Football League Championship divisions. He also writes articles in the ''Irish Daily Star'' and acts within an ambassador role for a small number of Dublin hotels. Turners Cross (stadium)
Turners Cross is an all-seater football stadium located in and synonymous with the district of Turners Cross in Cork, Ireland. It is owned by the Munster Football Association (MFA), and is used by the MFA and by League of Ireland side Cork City. It was the first all-seated, all-covered stadium in Ireland following redevelopment in 2009, and it is currently one out of only three, the others being the Aviva Stadium and Tallaght Stadium. Jackman Park
Jackman Park is a football ground in Limerick, Ireland. Located on the Lower Carey's Road, it was home to Limerick F.C. and is regularly used for various matches in Limerick, from schoolboy to women's international games. The ground's total capacity is 2,450 with a single 261-seat stand on the site of the former shed. It is situated next to Limerick railway station which is clearly visible from the shed side. Crescent College owned the ground in the 1970s before moving out to Crescent College Comprehensive. During their ownership Old Crescent played there. It was known as Priory Park during this time. The Football Association of Ireland Senior Challenge Cup (FAI Cup), known as the Sports Direct FAI Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a knock-out association football competition contested annually by teams from the Republic of Ireland (as well as Derry City F.C., Derry City from Northern Ireland). Organised by the FAI (Football Association of Ireland), the competition is currently sponsored by ''Sports Direct''. It was known as the Free State Cup from 1923 to 1936. Waterford Regional Sports Centre
The Waterford Regional Sports Centre (or simply, the RSC) is part of Waterford Corporation's Municipal sporting facilities and home to Waterford F.C. of the League of Ireland. Waterford moved to the newly opened RSC from their former home, Kilcohan Park for the 1993-94 season and have remained there ever since. Included on another site is an 18-hole pitch-and-putt course, an indoor hall, football pitches and tennis courts. The complex also had a Skateboard Park. The RSC comprises two stands. The Cork Road West Stand, opened in May 1996 has capacity of 1,275 seats. The new Kilbarry side East Stand which holds 1,760 opened in May 2008 and brings seating capacity to 3,035. There are future plans to extend the West Stand to bring the overall seated capacity to near 5,000. The RSC also contains a tartan athletics track which runs around the soccer pitch. The League of Ireland Cup, also referred to in Ireland as the 'League Cup', was an annual knockout competition in men's football in Ireland. It was contested by League of Ireland clubs and invited clubs from the lower levels of the Irish football league system. It has been sponsored by Electronic Arts and branded the EA Sports Cup since 2009. The competition began in 1973–74, replacing the League of Ireland Shield and the Dublin City Cup. It has had several formats since its inception and has been a knock-out competition since 2005. Cobh Ramblers Football Club (CRFC) is an Irish football club. The club, founded in 1922 and elected to the League of Ireland in 1985, hails from Cobh, County Cork and play their home matches at St. Colman's Park. The club's colours are claret and blue. The club was a founding member of the Cork Athletic Union League in 1947 and is the only one of the 14 founding clubs still in existence today.
