Wetdog
Wetdog is a London-based all-female post-punk trio, formed in the spring of 2007. The band released their first album, "Enterprise Reversal", in 2008 on Angular Records. It was followed by their second album, "Frauhaus", which was released on both Angular and on the Captured Tracks label. The first single from "Frauhaus" was "Lower Leg". The band released its third album, "Divine Times", on 4 May 2015 on Upset the Rhythm. Angular Records
Angular Recording Corporation was an independent record label founded in New Cross, South East London. It was established in June 2003 by two ex-Goldsmiths College students, Joe Daniel and Joe Margetts, who reclaimed a local Ordnance Survey Triangulation Station and made it their first artefact: ARC 001. The label's founders were influenced by a love of angular pop music and the Manchester label Factory Records. Gaining funding through medical testing, Angular Recording Corporation was able to finance its debut release in November 2003, the ''NME''-championed ''The New Cross : An Angular Sampler'', making it the lead review in the magazine. In the 2011 England riots, the label lost all its stock and entire back catalogue in the PIAS warehouse fire. An ''Angular Store'' website remains active. Shopping is a British post-punk trio based in London and Glasgow. Its members are Ray Aggs (guitar and vocals), Billy Easter (bass guitar and vocals), and Andrew Milk (drums and vocals), who formed the band in November 2012 out of their previous band, Covergirl. The band released its first album, ''Consumer Complaints'', on 11 April 2013 on Mïlk Records, a record label run by Easter and Milk; it was re-released by FatCat Records in the United States in 2015. Their second album, ''Why Choose'', was released on 2 October 2015 on FatCat Records. Upset The Rhythm is an independent record label based in London with a varied roster of leftfield artists and bands; they also operate as a diverse DIY live music promoter. Huw Stephens featured Upset The Rhythm as "purveyors of interesting indie" on his BBC Radio 1 show (24 November 2011) as part of his ongoing 'Label Of Love' feature. As of 2015, Upset The Rhythm had 85 releases. History Upset The Rhythm initially formed in 2003 while its members were organising a concert for Deerhoof. By 2015, Upset The Rhythm had organised about 700 shows.
