West Dumbartonshire (UK Parliament Constituency)
West Dunbartonshire is a county constituency of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (United Kingdom), Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. The current constituency was first used in the 2005 United Kingdom general election, 2005 general election. There was also an earlier West Dunbartonshire constituency, from 1950 to 1983. The current MP is Douglas McAllister of the Labour Party (UK), Labour Party, who was elected at the 2024 United Kingdom general election.
