Wes Welker
Wesley Carter Welker (born May 1, 1981) is an American professional football coach and former wide receiver who is a personnel analyst for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played in the NFL for 12 seasons, most notably with the New England Patriots, and holds the NFL record for most receptions by an undrafted free agent. Welker played college football for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, where he won the Mosi Tatupu Award and was a first-team All-Big 12 as a senior. Welker played three seasons with the Miami Dolphins in the mid-2000s, setting their franchise record for kickoff return yardage. He was traded to the Patriots in 2007, where he earned Pro Bowl selections in five of his six seasons with them, led the league in receptions three times, and set their franchise record for receptions. 2009 Pro Bowl
The 2009 Pro Bowl was the National Football League's all-star game for the 2008 season. It was played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii on February 8, 2009. Return yards is a gridiron football statistical measure that takes several forms. Reception (American Football)
In gridiron football, a reception, also known informally as a catch, is part of a passing play in which a player in bounds successfully catches (receives) a forward pass thrown from their team's quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. In most cases, after making the catch, the receiver will then proceed to run towards the opposing end zone carrying the ball and try to score a touchdown, unless the play ends due to him being downed or forced out of bounds.
