Wes Miller
Warren Weston Miller (born January 28, 1983) is an American basketball coach and former player, who is the head men's basketball coach at the University of Cincinnati. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, he played at the collegiate level for James Madison University and the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill, where he graduated in 2007. Professionally, Miller played for London Capital of the British Basketball League. He was previously head coach at UNC Greensboro, and served stints as an assistant coach at Elon University and High Point University. Playing career A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, Miller attended New Hampton Prep in New Hampton, New Hampshire. Miller played one year at James Madison before transferring to North Carolina to play for Roy Williams, where he successfully walked on to the basketball team. The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) Spartans men's basketball team represents the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in NCAA Division I. The school's team currently competes in the Southern Conference. History The school, formerly The Women's College of The University of North Carolina, allowed male students beginning 1965-66 and started a men's basketball program the following year. The Cincinnati Bearcats men's basketball program represents the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. The school's team competes in NCAA Division I as part of the Big 12 Conference. 2021 Southern Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2021 Southern Conference men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Southern Conference for the 2020–21 season. All tournament games were played at the Harrah's Cherokee Center in Asheville, North Carolina, from March 5 through 8, 2021. The winner of the tournament received the conference's automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Seeds All ten teams in the Southern Conference were eligible to compete in the conference tournament. Scott Cherry
Scott Douglas Cherry (born February 18, 1971) is an American college basketball coach and the former head men's basketball coach at High Point University. He replaced Bart Lundy in 2009. Cherry is a native of Ballston Spa, New York. High school career Cherry played for the Saratoga Central Catholic High School Saints in Saratoga Springs, New York. He played under coach Bob King who is widely considered Spa Catholic's greatest basketball coach of all time. Roy Allen Williams (born August 1, 1950) is an American retired college basketball coach who served as the men's head coach for the North Carolina Tar Heels for 18 seasons and the Kansas Jayhawks for 15 seasons. He was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007. The British Basketball League (BBL) was a men's professional basketball sports league, league in Great Britain. Since its establishment in 1987 the BBL represented the highest level of basketball competition within the United Kingdom. The organisation that operated the competition, Basketball League Limited, folded in July 2024 after the British Basketball Federation terminated its operating license. It was succeeded as the top-level men's basketball competition with Super League Basketball.
