Werner Schuler
Werner Luis Schuler Gamarra (born 27 July 1990) is a Peruvian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Universidad Técnica de Cajamarca in the Torneo Descentralizado. Club career Schuler started his senior career in 2008 with América Cochahuayco, a farm team of Universitario de Deportes. There he played under the management of Tito Chumpitaz in the 2008 Segunda División Peruana. Then in January 2009 he joined Sport Boys. The club was competing in the Segunda División Peruana at the time and finished as champions at the end of the 2009 season. With Sport Boys promoted the following year, Schuler made his Torneo Descentralizado debut on 8 May 2010 in Round 13 at home against Universidad San Martín. Manager Miguel Company placed him in the starting eleven alongside Alexander Callens in the centre of defence, but his debut ended in a 0–1 loss for his side. The Peru First Division (; known simply as ''First Division'', and Liga 1 Te Apuesto for sponsorship reasons), officially known as Liga 1, is the top flight of association football in Peru. 2011 U-20 Copa Libertadores
The 2011 U-20 Copa Libertadores (known as the 2011 Copa Movistar Libertadores Sub-20 for sponsorship reasons) was the first edition of this U-20 club competition. Players born on or after 1 January 1990 were eligible to compete. The tournament was originally going to be hosted in November 2010, however, because of the postponement, players born in 1990 were allowed to play, otherwise only players born after 1 January 1991 would have been eligible. U-20 Copa Libertadores
The CONMEBOL Under-20 Libertadores ( Portuguese and Spanish: CONMEBOL Libertadores Sub 20) is the international association football club competition for teams that play in CONMEBOL leagues. It was created by Manuel Burga Seoane and the Peruvian Football Federation. The competition started in the 2011 season in response to the increased interest in youth football. History The tournament had only two editions from 2011 to 2012. The first edition of this U-20 club competition was played in Lima, Peru. Alexander Martín Callens Asín (born 4 May 1992) is a Peruvian professional footballer who plays as a central defender for Super League Greece club AEK Athens and the Peru national team. Miguel Alejandro Company Chumpitazi (born 12 January 1945) is a Peruvian football coach, former player (1965–1973), and sports reporter. Playing career Company did not have a great track record during his playing days. He did manage to play for notable teams such as Chiclayo based club Juan Aurich and José Gálvez FBC of Chimbote around the 1970s.
