Alexander Wennberg
Alexander Wennberg (born 22 September 1994) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player for the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played for the Columbus Blue Jackets and Florida Panthers. He was drafted by the Blue Jackets in the first round, 14th overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Before joining the NHL, Wennberg played professionally in the Swedish Hockey League. Playing career For the 2010–11 season, Wennberg joined the Djurgårdens IF under-18 team, scoring 11 goals and 23 assists. The next year, he moved up to the organization's under-20 team and also represented Sweden at the 2011 U19 World Junior A Challenge and 2012 U18 World Junior Championship tournaments. He also spent time with Djurgårdens IF's Elitserien senior team but did not appear in any games. John E. "Jack" Wennberg (born June 2, 1934) is the pioneer and leading researcher of unwarranted variation in the healthcare industry. In four decades of work, Wennberg has documented the geographic variation in the healthcare that patients receive in the United States. Charlotta ''"Lotten"'' Christina Wennberg (3 June 1815 – 4 November 1864), was a Swedish philanthropist. Biography Lotten Wennberg was born in Stockholm to wealthy landowner J. O. Wennberg. During her early life, she spent her winters in the capital, where she participated in society life, and her summers on Yxe Manor in Nora Mountain District, where she handed out supplies to the poor, as was expected from an upper-class woman. However, she expanded her activity and also started collections of funds to also provide the poor from neighboring parishes with supplies. In 1835, her father died: at the time of his death, his affairs were in disorder, and for a while, there was a risk that the family could go bankrupt. This did not happen, but the risk is said to have made her decide to make philanthropy her main task in life. Paul O. Wennberg is the R. Stanton Avery Professor of Atmospheric Chemistry and Environmental Science and Engineering at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). He is the director of the Ronald and Maxine Linde Center for Global Environmental Science.
