Annemarie Wendl
Annemarie Wendl (26 December 1914, Trostberg, Upper Bavaria – 3 September 2006, Munich, Bavaria) was a German actress. Career Wendl was born into an upper-class family in Bavaria and began her training as an actress in Berlin at Lucie Höflich's seminar. Afterwards, she played classical roles on stage in Berlin, Bonn, Augsburg, Innsbruck, Munich, Meiningen, Bamberg and Ingolstadt. In her youth, she played "all sentimental characters", such as ''Faust's'' Gretchen and Emilia Galotti. Later she played character roles, such as Adelheid in ''Götz von Berlichingen'', Blanche DuBois in ''A Streetcar Named Desire'', Maria Stuart in the play by Schiller and the title role in Brecht's ''Mother Courage''. Her last theatrical works were ''The Widow in the Green Tree'' (1997) and ''Sanssouci'' in 2001. Wendl began working in film in 1961 and made more than 35 films and TV productions. Hans Wendl
Hans Wendl is a producer. He began his career in the music business with the record label ECM Records in his hometown of Munich in the mid-1970s and was associated with the German label for twelve years before moving to the United States in 1986. He was also director of the Gramavision Records label for Rykodisc for three years during the mid-1990s. Hans Wendl has produced the recordings of many notable jazz and world music artists, including Don Byron, Charlie Haden, Bill Frisell, Ravi Shankar, Anoushka Shankar, Peter Apfelbaum, Medeski Martin & Wood, and Tin Hat (formerly Tin Hat Trio). Of the over 30 recordings he has produced, five have been nominated for Grammy Awards, and in 2002, ''Ravi Shankar's Full Circle – Carnegie Hall 2000'' won the Grammy for Best World Music Album. Ingrid Wendl
Ingrid Turković-Wendl (born Ingrid Wendl on 17 May 1940 in Vienna) is an Austrian retired figure skater, television announcer, and political figure. She has been an Austrian People's Party delegate to the National Council of Austria since 2002. Turković-Wendl is a two-time European champion (1956, 1958), the 1956 Olympic bronze medalist in ladies' figure skating,Olympic results

Tobias Wendl
Tobias Wendl (born 16 June 1987) is a German luger who has competed since 1993, acting as a front. He won a silver medal in the men's doubles event at the 2008 FIL World Luge Championships in Oberhof, Germany, a silver and a bronze at the FIL European Luge Championships 2010 in Sigulda, a gold at the FIL World Luge Championships 2013, and two gold medals at his debut Winter Olympics at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. He is also a Master Sergeant in the German Army. Career Wendl was born on 16 June 1987 in Aachen, Germany. He began competing in the luge in 1993; and became a part of the national team in 2005, luging as a front. At the 2008 FIL World Luge Championships in Oberhof, Germany, he won a silver medal; and at the FIL European Luge Championships 2010 in Sigulda, Wendl won a silver medal in men's doubles and a bronze medal in the team relay events.
