''Weekend World'' is the British drum and bass group E-Z Rollers' second album. It was released in 1998. In 1999, the album was re-released with two bonus tracks and slightly altered track listing and cover art. The E-Z Rollers are a British drum and bass group.IMO Record"EZ Rollers", ''IMO Records'', London, 21 October 2011. Retrieved 23 November 2011. The group was formed in 1995 in Suffolk, England. E-Z Rollers began releasing output on the Moving Shadow label, but later created their own label called Intercom Recordings. In 2007, they released the album, ''Conductor''. Drum and bass (also written as drum & bass or drum'n'bass and commonly abbreviated as D&B, DnB, or D'n'B) is a genre of electronic dance music characterized by fast breakbeats (typically 165–185 beats per minute) with heavy bass and sub-bass lines, samples, and synthesizers. The genre grew out of the UK's rave scene in the 1990s. The popularity of drum and bass at its commercial peak ran parallel to several other UK dance styles. A major influence was the original Jamaican dub and reggae sound that influenced jungle's bass-heavy sound. Another feature of the style is the complex syncopation of the drum tracks' breakbeat. Moving Shadow
Moving Shadow is an English breakbeat hardcore, jungle and drum and bass record label which was founded in 1990 by Rob Playford. History The label began in 1990, operating from Playford's Stevenage home. Playford had become a focal point for local, young artists and bedroom producers seeking advice on releasing their own music following the release of his first three 12 inch vinyls. The label's first release with a 'Shadow' prefixed catalogue number came in 1991; the ''Psychotronic EP'' by Earth Leakage Trip. Many artists attributed to early Shadow releases were Playford's aliases or collaborations, such as 2 Bad Mice, a group he formed with Sean O'Keeffe and Simon Colebrooke.
