We Are Not Alone (Breaking Benjamin Album)
''We Are Not Alone'' is the second studio album by American rock band Breaking Benjamin. It was released on June 29, 2004. Three singles were released from the album, " So Cold", " Sooner or Later", and the full-band version of "Rain". The album's name is a reference to a James Hilton novel of the same name. ''We Are Not Alone'' sold 48,000 copies in its first week and was certified platinum by the RIAA on June 13, 2005. It was the first Breaking Benjamin album to receive a Parental Advisory label. A ''Live EP'' was released with limited editions of the album, containing live recorded versions of "Sugarcoat," "Water," "Medicate," and "Next to Nothing" from their first album ''Saturate.'' Breaking Benjamin
Breaking Benjamin is an American Rock music, rock band from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, formed in 1999 by lead singer and guitarist Benjamin Burnley and drummer Jeremy Hummel. The first lineup of the band also included guitarist Aaron Fink and bassist Mark James Klepaski. This lineup released two albums, ''Saturate (Breaking Benjamin album), Saturate'' (2002) and ''We Are Not Alone (Breaking Benjamin album), We Are Not Alone'' (2004), before Hummel was replaced by Chad Szeliga in 2005. George Marino (April 15, 1947June 4, 2012) was an American mastering engineer known for working on albums by rock bands starting in the late 1960s. Biography Marino was born on April 15, 1947, in the New York City borough The Bronx. He attended Christopher Columbus High School there and learned to play the saxophone and bass fiddle in the high school band and was classically trained on guitar. Marino broke into the music business as a guitarist playing rock and roll in local New York City bands such as The Chancellors and The New Sounds Ltd. until most of the band members were drafted into the service for the war in Vietnam. Andy Wallace (born 1947) is an American record producer and audio and mixing engineer. Over the years, he focused exclusively on mixing. Career Wallace was born in New Jersey. Chad Szeliga
Chad Szeliga (born December 23, 1976) is an American drummer from Elyria, Ohio. Formerly the drummer of rock band Breaking Benjamin, he joined Black Label Society in 2013, replacing Mike Froedge. In 2017, Szeliga replaced Jimmy DeGrasso in Black Star Riders, leaving the band in 2021. He currently drums for NEPA band, Turning the Tide. Szeliga cites Vinnie Colaiuta, John Bonham, Steve Gadd, Dennis Chambers, Tony Williams, Manu Katché, Stewart Copeland and Neil Peart as his main influences.
