We Are All Hostages
We Are All Hostages (, ''Kulanu Hatufim'') is an Israeli grassroots group made up of families of Israeli hostages who were kidnapped during the October 7 Hamas-led attack on Israel, as well as activists who support them. The group is known for its involvement in the Israeli hostage deal protests. Key figures include Einav Zangauker and Yehuda Cohen, parents of hostages held in Gaza. The group protests daily outside IDF headquarters (HaKirya) in Tel Aviv, and they are known for blocking Highway 20 ("Ayalon") on multiple occasions. They have called for an end to the Gaza war and a deal to return the hostages, arguing that Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, is sabotaging the current hostage deal. HaKirya, or The Kirya (, ), is an area in central Tel Aviv, consisting of an urban military base north of Kaplan Street. HaKirya contains the Tel Aviv District's government center and the major Israel Defense Forces (IDF) base Camp Rabin (, ''Mahaneh Rabin''), named for Yitzhak Rabin, also known as Hakirya Base. The Hostages and Missing Persons Families Forum (Hebrew: מטה המשפחות להחזרת החטופים והנעדרים) is a body established by the families of the Gaza war hostage crisis, abductees who were kidnapped to Gaza as part of the 2023 Hamas attack on Israel on 7 October 2023, and by the families of the missing persons as a result of this attack. The forum aims to return the abductees from Gaza, to locate those missing from the attack, and to handle medical, legal and other matters related to the abduction and its consequences.
