Watson (TV Series)
''Watson'' is an American television series created by Craig Sweeny which premiered on CBS on January 26, 2025. The series, described as a "medical drama with detective elements", is centered around the character of Dr. John Watson from Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories, with Morris Chestnut portraying the character. It is the second CBS series to adapt the Holmes stories, after ''Elementary (TV series), Elementary''. While the two programs are otherwise unrelated, their creative teams overlap. In March 2025, ''Watson'' was renewed for a second season which is set to premiere in January 2026. "The Final Problem" is a short story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle featuring his detective character Sherlock Holmes. It was first published in ''The Strand Magazine'' in the United Kingdom, and ''McClure's'' in the United States, under the title "The Adventure of the Final Problem" in December 1893. It appears in book form as part of the collection '' The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes''. The story, set in 1891, introduces the criminal mastermind Professor Moriarty.
