Warrington Central
Warrington Central is one of three main railway stations serving the town of Warrington in Cheshire, England. It is located on the southern route of the Liverpool to Manchester Lines, the former Cheshire Lines Committee route between Liverpool and Manchester; the station is situated approximately halfway between the two cities. The second station in the town is , which accommodates electrified lines on the West Coast Main Line with services to , , and . The third is Warrington West, which opened in 2019 and is on the same line as Warrington Central. Warrington () is an industrial town in the Borough of Warrington, borough of the same name in Cheshire, England. The town sits on the banks of the River Mersey and was Historic counties of England, historically part of Lancashire. It is east of Liverpool and the same distance west of Manchester. Liverpool South Parkway station is a railway station and bus interchange in the Garston district of Liverpool, England. Birchwood railway station is a railway station serving the town of Birchwood, Cheshire, England. The station is east of and west of on the Liverpool-Manchester line. Widnes railway station (formerly Widnes North) is a railway station serving the industrial town of Widnes, Halton, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. The station is operated by Northern Trains.
