Alan Warriner-Little
Alan Warriner-Little (born Warriner; 24 March 1962) is an English former professional darts player. Nicknamed The Iceman, he is a former World Grand Prix champion and a former runner-up at the World Professional Darts Championship. Darts career Before coming to prominence as a darts professional, Warriner-Little appeared as a contestant in a 1987 edition of the ITV gameshow Bullseye whilst working as a State Enrolled Nurse on Ward 13 Upper at Lancaster Moor Hospital. He scored 257 the following year when he was invited back to throw for charity. He made his World Championship debut in 1989, losing a second-round match to Jocky Wilson in a sudden death leg, after missing 8 match darts, with Wilson going on to win the tournament for his second World Championship. Ed Warinner
Ed Warinner (born August 5, 1961) is an American football coach and former player who was the run game coordinator at Florida Atlantic University from 2021–2024. Prior to his time at FAU, he was the offensive line coach for Michigan Wolverines football team. He also held assistant coaching positions for Army (1987–1999), Air Force (2000–2002), Kansas (2003–2004, 2007–2009), Illinois (2005–2006), Notre Dame (2010–2011), Ohio State (2012–2016), and Minnesota (2017). He won a national championship with Ohio State in 2014. Florida Atlantic fired Warinner and defensive coordinator Roc Bellantoni on November 10, 2024. Jeremy Matthew Wariner (born January 31, 1984) is a retired American track athlete specializing in the 400 meters. He has won four Olympic medals (three gold, one silver) and six World Championships medals. He is the joint sixth fastest competitor in the history of the 400 m event with a personal best of 43.45 seconds, behind Wayde van Niekerk (43.03 WR, 2016), Michael Johnson (43.18 WR, 1999) and Butch Reynolds (43.29 WR, 1988) and the fifth fastest all-time mark when he set it in 2007. Leroy Warriner
Leroy Earl Warriner (March 1, 1919 – January 2, 2003) was an American racing driver from Indianapolis who attempted to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 every year from 1951 to 1958 without succeeding. Warriner only managed to qualify for a single Championship Car race, the September 1953 race at the Indiana State Fairgrounds where he started and finished 18th. Michael Henry Warriner (3 December 1908 – 7 April 1986) was an English people, English Rowing (sport), rower who competed in the 1928 Summer Olympics representing Great Britain. Warriner was born at Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. He was educated at Harrow School and Trinity College, Cambridge, where he rowed with the First Trinity Boat Club and was a member of the Pitt Club. Sam Bradley (Birth name#Maiden and married names, née Warriner; born 1 August 1971) is a retired Triathlon, triathlete who represented New Zealand in triathlons ranging from sprint distance up to the Ironman Triathlon, Ironman. Todd Eaton Warriner (born January 3, 1974) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward. Over the course of his career, Warriner played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Tampa Bay Lightning, Phoenix Coyotes, Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers, and Nashville Predators of the NHL. Doreen Agnes Rosemary Julia Warriner (16March 190417December 1972) was an English development economist and humanitarian. In October 1938, she journeyed to Czechoslovakia to assist anti-Nazi refugees fleeing the Sudetenland, recently occupied by Germany. She became the head of the British Committee for Refugees from Czechoslovakia in Prague which helped 15,000 German, Czech, and Jewish refugees escape Czechoslovakia while the country was being occupied and annexed by Nazi Germany in 1938 and 1939. Told that she would be arrested by the Germans Warriner departed Czechoslovakia on 23 April 1939. She was awarded an OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) in 1941. Frederic Warriner (June 2, 1916 – November 10, 1992) was an American stage actor. Early years Warriner was the son of Frederic E. Warriner and Hildreth Vail Warriner, who was an actress. He was born in Pasadena, California. He graduated from Pasadena City College and performed at the Pasadena Community Playhouse for five years. Frederick Warriner
Frederick Edgar Warriner (April 3, 1884 – December 26, 1966) was the 34th Mayor of Winnipeg in 1937. He was born in Stouffville, Ontario and received his degree in dentistry from the University of Toronto in 1907. He moved to Winnipeg in 1917 and set up practice.
