Warrant is an American glam metal band formed in 1984 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, that experienced success from 1989 to 1996 with five albums reaching international sales of over 10 million. Scott Warren
Scott Warren (born November 3, 1962) is an American musician best known as the keyboardist for the heavy metal band Dio from 1994 until the band's dissolution in 2010. Scott began playing keyboard instruments at six years old. He first taught himself how to play, but was later trained professionally at Dick Grove School of Music. In addition to Dio, Warren has worked with the bands Warrant, Keel, Berlin, and Heaven & Hell, the latter of which also featured Ronnie James Dio. Today Warren is part of the band Dio Disciples, which includes surviving members of the final line-up of Dio, along with former Lynch Mob vocalist Oni Logan. He also plays in the band Hellion, alongside fellow Dio Disciples member Simon Wright. Dio Warren joined Dio to play keyboards on the ''Strange Highways'' tour in 1993. ''Cherry Pie'' is the second studio album by American glam metal band Warrant, released September 11, 1990. The album is the band's best-known and highest-selling release and peaked at number 7 on the ''Billboard'' 200. The album featured the top 40 hits " Cherry Pie" and " I Saw Red". Production and marketing ''Cherry Pie'' was released on September 11, 1990, through Columbia Records. Like its predecessor, ''Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich'', it was recorded at The Enterprise in Burbank, California. It is rumored that Erik Turner and Joey Allen did not play on the album and that all guitar work had been performed by ex-Streets guitarist and session musician Mike Slamer. The power ballad was released in July 1989 as the second single from Warrant's debut album, ''Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich''. Michael Foster (musician)
Michael Foster (born December 9, 1964) is an American musician best known as the drummer and founding member of rock band FireHouse. Foster and guitarist/founding member Bill Leverty are the only original members still active in the band, following the death of vocalist CJ Snare. Biography Foster was born in Richmond, Virginia to James Ernest and Patricia (née Valenti) Foster. He has a younger brother called Daniel Sean. When he was 5 years old, his mother gave him his first real drum set and he dedicated hours to practice it. He played in school bands and eventually learned music theory as well as other percussive instruments. In 1984, Foster auditioned for a band called White Heat, in which Bill Leverty was the guitarist. He got the job, and eventually they met C.J. Billy Morris (guitarist)
Billy Morris is a guitarist who has played in several bands including Warrant, Quiet Riot, Kidd Wicked, Spoyld, Beast, The Glorious Things, and the Billy Morris Band. He guested with the band St. James, and has also played with former Mr. Big guitarist Paul Gilbert. With Warrant, he produced and played on the album '' Under the Influence'', on which he sang lead vocals on the cover of AC/DC's "Down Payment Blues", as well as playing guitar on the whole album.
