Warning Device
''Warning Device'' is the third studio Studio album, album by the American pop punk band Teenage Bottlerocket. Release It was released on January 8, 2008 on Red Scare Records, their last release for the label. A music video was released for "In the Basement" on February 4, 2008. The following month, the band embarked on a West Coast US tour with Dead to Me (band), Dead to Me, the Femurs and Broadway Calls, which led into an East Coast tour with the Copyrights. In August 2008, the band embarked on a headlining tour of Canada with support from The Riptides (Canadian band), Riptides and the Sidekicks, followed by a handful of US shows. In October 2008, they then appeared at Riot Fest, before going on a short US tour. Teenage Bottlerocket
Teenage Bottlerocket is an American punk rock band formed in Laramie, Wyoming in 2000. The band was formed by twin brothers Ray and Brandon Carlisle, following the dissolution of their previous band, Homeless Wonders. The band's music is heavily influenced by guitarist and co-vocalist Kody Templeman's other band, The Lillingtons, and punk rock acts such as Ramones, Screeching Weasel, Green Day, The Bouncing Souls, and Misfits; Their music has been referred to as "Ramones-core", "Weasel-core" and "leather jacket punk". In a 2006 interview with the band, Punknews described Teenage Bottlerocket as "the last decent band around playing Ramones-y pop punk", stating that Teenage Bottlerocket "certainly owe nothing to the trends" and naming the band "the best punk band from the Cowboy State since The Lillingtons". Riot Fest
Riot Fest is an annual three-day punk rock music festival based in Chicago, Illinois, at Douglass Park. It is known for booking reunions, guest performances, and full album performances. Riot Fest remains one of the largest independently owned music festivals in the United States. History Riot Fest was established in Chicago in 2005 by Mike Petryshyn and Sean McKeough, the latter who also co-produced Chicago's Motoblot annual motorcycle rally. Drum
The drum is a member of the percussion group of musical instruments. In the Hornbostel-Sachs classification system, it is a membranophone. Drums consist of at least one membrane, called a drumhead or drum skin, that is stretched over a shell and struck, either directly with the player's hands, or with a percussion mallet, to produce sound. There is usually a resonant head on the underside of the drum. Other techniques have been used to cause drums to make sound, such as the thumb roll. Bass (guitar)
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. Since the mid-1950s, the bass guitar has largely replaced the double bass in popular music. Kody Seti Kimbulu (born 23 January 1978), known professionally as Kody or Kody Kim, is a Belgian television host, comedian, and radio personality. Kody was born in Schaerbeek, Belgium to a Congolese family. He attended the Catholic University of Louvain, studying both politics and business management. The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings.
