"Warm Machine" is a song by British rock band Bush. It was released on 11 February 2000 as the second UK single from the band's third album, ''The Science of Things'' (1999). Music video The video was directed by Russel Thomas and Steve Jones on 18 December 1999. The live footage is taken from a show which took place at the Bayfront Amphitheratre in Miami, Florida on 18 December, while the sections of the video with the band playing on a dark stage were filmed in a London studio. The song was actually played twice at the Miami show. Commercial performance Although the song was not as successful as the other singles from ''The Science of Things'', only managing to reach No. 38 on the U.S. Alternative Songs chart and No. 16 on the U.S. Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, the song became the band's third most successful song in their native Britain (behind "Swallowed" and "Greedy Fly") reaching No. 45 on the UK Singles Chart. Bush (British Band)
Bush are an English rock band formed in London, England in 1992. Their current lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Gavin Rossdale, lead guitarist Chris Traynor, bassist Corey Britz, and drummer Nik Hughes. In 1994, Bush found immediate success outside the UK with the release of their debut album, '' Sixteen Stone'', which is certified six times multi-platinum by the RIAA. They went on to become one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the 1990s, selling over ten million records in the United States and 20 million records worldwide. Despite their success in the US (especially in the mid-1990s), the band were considerably less popular in their home country and they have enjoyed only marginal success there. "All the Right Moves" is the lead single by American band OneRepublic from their second studio album '' Waking Up'' (2009). It was released to mainstream radio on September 24, 2009 and released for digital download on October 6, 2009. It is the band's first single of the album for all countries except Austria and Germany, where " Secrets" serves as the first single from the new album. Frontman Ryan Tedder blogged on his Myspace page that before the song's release as a single the band had already performed it live on many occasions. He added, "however the recorded version is quite another animal than what we performed live—it's better, we hope you like it—this might be the most fun energetic song we've ever tackled." Adrian Nicholas Matthews Thaws (born 27 January 1968), better known by his stage name Tricky, is a British record producer and rapper. Born and raised in Bristol, he began his career as an early member of the band Massive Attack alongside Robert Del Naja, Grant Marshall & Andrew Vowles. He embarked on a solo career with his debut album, '' Maxinquaye'', in 1995.
