Wang Toon
Wang Tong or Wang Toon (born Wáng Zhōnghé, April 14, 1942) is a Taiwanese director who started his career as an art director and production designer and later became a film director and educator. He started working in the Central Motion Picture Corporation (中影股份有限公司) in the department for art and costume design in 1966. He won the 13th Golden Horse Awards, 13th Golden Horse Award for best art direction in 1976 for ''Forever My Love'', directed by Pai Chingjui (白景瑞). He demonstrated his talent as a film director with his first feature, ''If I Were for Real'' (假如我是真的), which won him four awards, including Best Narrative Film, Best Leading Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Adapted Screenplay in the 18th Golden Horse Award in 1981. Huang Chun-ming
Huang Chun-ming (; born 13 February 1935) is a Taiwanese literary figure and teacher. Huang writes mainly about the tragic and sometimes humorous lives of ordinary Taiwanese people, and many of his short stories have been turned into films, including ''The Sandwich Man'' (1983). Richard Li Han-hsiang (; 7 March 1926 in Jinxi, Liaoning – 17 December 1996 in Beijing) was a Chinese film director. Li directed more than 70 films in his career beginning in the 1950s and lasting till the 1990s. Sung Tsun-Shou
Sung Tsun-Shou or Song Chun-So (; September 2, 1930 – May 27, 2008), was a Mainland Chinese-born Taiwanese film director. He began his film career as screenwriter and assistant director. He came to Taiwan with Li Han-Hsiang (李翰祥) in 1963 to join Grand Motion Pictures Co., Ltd. (國聯影業有限公司) Li founded. Li Hsing or Lee Hsing (李行) was a Taiwanese film director. He was born Lee Tz-da (李子達) in 1930 in Shanghai and died in 2021. He made one of the early popular Taiwanese films in the late 1959, '' Wang and Liu Tour Taiwan'' (王哥柳哥遊台灣), though he did not speak Taiwanese. Chen Yingzhen
Chen Yingzhen (; 8 November 1937 – 22 November 2016) was a Taiwanese author. Chen is also notable for having served a prison sentence for "subversive activity" between 1968 and 1973. He was active as writer from the late 1950s until his death in 2016. The ''Collected Works of Chen Yingzhen'' is 15 volumes long, and was published in 1988. Some of his stories were also included in Lucien Miller's ''Exiles at Home''. Early life Chen Yingzhen was born Chen Yongshan in northern Taiwan, the son of a devout Christian minister.
