Wan Saiful Wan Jan
Wan Saifulruddin bin Wan Jan ( ms, وان سيفرودين بن الوان جان, label= Jawi, script=arab, italic=unset; born 20 June 1975), better known as Wan Saiful Wan Jan, is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tasek Gelugor since November 2022. He is a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a component party of the opposition Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition. Wan Saiful joined BERSATU in February 2018, which at the time was a component party of the opposition Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition. When PH formed the government after the 2018 Malaysian general election, Wan Saiful took the post of Special Advisor to the Minister of Education Maszlee Malik from May to November 2018. Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir (born 14 January 1948) is the eleventh Yang di-Pertuan Besar (Grand Ruler) of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Yamtuan, also known officially as Yang di-Pertuan Besar and unofficially as Grand Ruler, is the royal title of the ruler of the Malaysian state of Negeri Sembilan. The Grand Ruler of Negeri Sembilan is elected by a council of ruling chiefs in the state, or the '' Undangs''. This royal practice has been followed since 1773. 2018 Malaysian General Election
The 2018 Malaysian General Election, formally known as the 14th Malaysian General Election (), was held on Wednesday, 9 May 2018, for members of the 14th Parliament of Malaysia. At stake were all 222 seats in the Dewan Rakyat (the legislature's lower house) and 505 seats in 12 out of the 13 state legislative assemblies of Malaysia. The Dewan Rakyat ( English: 'House of Representatives'; ) is the lower house of the bicameral Parliament, the federal legislature of Malaysia. The chamber and its powers are established by Article 44 of the Constitution of Malaysia. The Dewan Rakyat sits in the Houses of Parliament in Kuala Lumpur, along with the Dewan Negara, the upper house.
