Walker Thomas
Walker Wood Thomas (born August 13, 1963) is an American politician who has served as a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives since January 2017. He represents Kentucky's 8th House district, which includes Caldwell County as well as part of Christian and Trigg counties. Thomas currently serves as chair of the House Standing Committee on Veterans, Military Affairs, and Public Protection. Biography Thomas was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Thomas has owned numerous business interests such as a family entertainment center and Kentucky Moving and Storage. He previously served a term on the Hopkinsville City Council as well as President of the Hopkinsville Rotary Club and Salvation Army. Matt Bevin
Matthew Griswold Bevin (; born January 9, 1967) is an American businessman and politician who served as the 62nd governor of Kentucky, from 2015 to 2019. He was the third Republican elected Kentucky governor since World War II, after Ernie Fletcher (2003–2007) and Louie Nunn (1967–1971). Born in Denver, Colorado, and raised in Shelburne, New Hampshire, Bevin earned a bachelor's degree at Washington and Lee University in 1989, then served four years of active duty in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of captain. He became wealthy in the investment business and moved to Louisville, Kentucky, in 1999. He was president of Bevin Brothers Manufacturing Company, one of the last remaining American bell foundries. All 100 of Kentucky's state representatives were up for reelection. In Kentucky, members of the House of Representatives serve two-year terms.
