Wakaba Higuchi
is a Japanese figure skater. She is the 2018 World Figure Skating Championships, 2018 World silver medalist and a five-time Japan Figure Skating Championships, Japanese national medalist (bronze in 2015, silver in 2016, 2017, 2020, and 2022). On the junior level, she is a two-time World Junior Figure Skating Championships, World Junior bronze medalist (2015 World Junior Figure Skating Championships, 2015, 2016 World Junior Figure Skating Championships, 2016), the 2014–15 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, 2014–15 Junior Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, and a two-time Japan Junior Figure Skating Championships, Japan Junior national champion (2015, 2016). ISU World Team Trophy In Figure Skating
The ISU World Team Trophy in Figure Skating is a figure skating team competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union. The World Team Trophy was held for the first time in Tokyo, Japan from April 16 to 19, 2009. Traditionally, the competitive skating season had concluded with the World Championships. The new event was announced at a news conference during the 2008 World Championships, in the hope of encouraging countries to develop top figure skaters in all disciplines. The World Figure Skating Championships (''"Worlds"'') is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union. The team event in figure skating at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held on 4, 6, and 7 February, at the Capital Indoor Stadium in Haidian District of Beijing. The 2018 World Figure Skating Championships were held in Milan, Italy from 19–25 March 2018, at the Mediolanum Forum.
