Wait For It (How I Met Your Mother)
"Wait for It" is the first episode in the third season of the television series ''How I Met Your Mother'' and 45th episode overall. It originally aired on September 24, 2007. Plot Future Ted tells his children that although they know the short story (involving a yellow umbrella) of how he met their mother, there is a bigger story of how he became the man he needed to be in order to meet her. At Lily and Marshall's wedding, Barney tries to get Ted out to help him "conquer New York" but Ted says he is not ready yet. Robin returns from Argentina with her new boyfriend Gael (played by Enrique Iglesias) and Ted announces he's finally ready, having decided that Robin is trying to “win” their breakup. Barnabus Stinson is a fictional character portrayed by Neil Patrick Harris and created by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas for the CBS television series ''How I Met Your Mother'' (2005–2014). One of the show's main characters, Barney is known for his brash, manipulative and opinionated personality. He is a womanizer known for his love of expensive suits, laser tag, and Scotch whisky. The character uses many 'plays' in his 'playbook' to help him have sex with women. In later seasons, he has a few serious relationships, then marries, divorces, and has a child with an unnamed woman from a one-night stand, and then marries the same woman again (as implied in the alternate ending). Barney's catchphrases included "Suit up!", “Go for Barney”, "What up?!", "Stinson out", "Legendary", "Wait for it" (often combining the two as "legen—wait for it—dary!"), "Daddy's home", "Haaaaave you met Ted" and "Challenge accepted". Critics have praised the character and credited Harris’ ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Wait For It (song)
"Wait for It" is the thirteenth song from Act 1 of the musical '' Hamilton'', based on the life of Alexander Hamilton, which premiered on Broadway in 2015. Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote both the music and lyrics to the song. It speaks of Aaron Burrs undying determination in the face of Hamilton's swift rise to influence and power. Vocally, it covers a baritenor range of Ab2 to Ab4. Background Miranda explained that the song's refrain appeared to him essentially in its final state while taking the subway to a friend's party. He recorded the refrain on his phone, briefly attended the party, then completed the song on his trip home. He has commented that "Wait for It" and " The Room Where It Happens" are "two of the best songs I've ever written in my life and /nowiki>Leslie Odom Jr.">Leslie_Odom_Jr..html" ;"title="/nowiki>Leslie Odom Jr.">/nowiki>Leslie Odom Jr./nowiki> got them both".
