Wahida Rehman
Waheeda Rehman (born 3 February 1938) is an Indian actress. Regarded among the most accomplished actresses of Hindi cinema, she has worked in more than 90 feature films, in a career spanning over five decades. Her accolades include a National Film Award and two Filmfare Awards. She was honoured with India's civilian awards, the Padma Shri in 1972 and the Padma Bhushan in 2011. In 2021 she was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India's highest award in the field of cinema. Waheeda made her acting debut with the Telugu film '' Rojulu Marayi'' (1955). She rose to prominence by her collaborations with Hindi filmmaker Guru Dutt in the dramas ''Pyaasa'' (1957), ''Kaagaz Ke Phool'' (1959), ''Chaudhvin Ka Chand'' (1960), and ''Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam'' (1962). Chengalpattu, previously known as Chingleput or Chengalpet, is a town and the headquarters of Chengalpattu district of the state Tamil Nadu, India. ''Chaudhvin Ka Chand'' () is a 1960 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Mohammed Sadiq. This film was a super-hit at the box-office, and became one of the top-grossing films of 1960. Yash Raj Chopra (27 September 1932 21 October 2012) was an Indian film director and film producer who worked in Bollywood, Hindi cinema. The founding chairman of the film production and distribution company Yash Raj Films, Chopra was the recipient of several awards, including 6 National Film Awards and 8 Filmfare Awards. He is considered among the best Hindi filmmakers, particularly known and admired for his romantic films with strong female leads. ''Khamoshi'' () is a 1969 black-and-white Hindi drama film directed by Asit Sen, starring Waheeda Rehman and Rajesh Khanna. It is especially remembered for its memorable music by Hemant Kumar and lyrics by Gulzar in songs such as "Tum Pukaar Lo...
