Gehenna (band)
Gehenna is a Norwegian black metal band. History Gehenna were formed in January 1993 by original members Sanrabb, Dolgar, and Sir Vereda.''Biography'' , accessed on 17 January 2013. After their first demo, entitled ''Black Seared Heart'', Sir Vereda left the band due to legal problems, and was replaced by Dirge Rep. The band also enlisted Svartalv as bass player during this time. In 1994, Necromantic Gallery Productions released Gehenna's first 7-inch EP ''Ancestor of the Darkly Sky'', and the band signed and cancelled a deal with No Fashion Records; they entered a studio to record a full-length album in January 1994, but it was "cancelled due to NFR's lack of money". Black metal is an extreme metal, extreme subgenre of heavy metal music. Moonfog Productions
Moonfog Productions was a Norwegian record label founded by Satyricon frontman Satyr and Tormod Opedal. The label was established unofficially in 1992 and released its first record in 1994. Moonfog Productions specialized in black metal and other genres when these were the musical projects of the artists on its main roster. A significant number of titles from Moonfog were subsequently reissued by Peaceville Records. Kjetil Haraldstad
Kjetil-Vidar Haraldstad (stage name Frost; born 28 June 1973) is a Norwegian drummer in the black metal bands Satyricon and 1349. He was born in Øyer, Oppland. Frost has previously performed with Gorgoroth, Zyklon-B, Gehenna and Keep Of Kalessin. He originally joined Satyricon temporarily to record the demo ''The Forest is My Throne'', later joining the band full-time. He has a degree in Engineering, having taken a course in Computer Science at the University of Oslo. He is regarded as one of the fastest and most proficient drummers in the black metal and extreme metal genres. Frost employs various drumming styles when performing with different bands; in 1349 and early Satyricon he extensively uses blast beats, with his most recent work in Satyricon being more thought-out and mid-tempo.
