WBQH (1050 AM broadcasting, AM) is a radio broadcasting station in the Washington, D.C. region, licensed to Silver Spring, Maryland. It broadcasts a regional Mexican format. XEG-AM (1050 kHz) is a Class A clear channel radio station in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Its transmitter is in Guadalupe, Nuevo León. XEG was known as a border blaster in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Greater Media, Inc., known as Greater Media, was an American media company that specialized in radio stations. The markets where they owned radio stations included Boston, Detroit, Philadelphia, Charlotte, and the state of New Jersey.
