WRXL-HD2 (102.1-2 FM) – branded ''Big 98.5'' – is a digital subchannel of Richmond, Virginia radio station WRXL (102.1 FM). History The station signed on as a translator for Liberty University's WRVL in 2004, on 96.1 MHz, using the callsign W241AP. Digital radio is the use of digital technology to transmit or receive across the radio spectrum.
