WQCD (AM)
WQCD (1550 AM) is a commercial alternative rock radio station licensed to serve Delaware, Ohio, locally owned by Brent Casagrande through licensee Delmar Communications, Inc. and operated by WWCD, Ltd. The station primarily serves the Delaware County region and the northern portion of the Columbus metro area as a full-time simulcast of WWCD in Columbus. In addition to a standard analog transmission, WQCD is relayed over analog Delaware translator W225CM (92.9 FM), and is also available online; as WWCD's FM translator W225CS (92.9 FM) also broadcasts on the same frequency, WWCD and WQCD brand as "CD 92.9 FM." The WQCD/WWCD studios are located in Columbus's Brewery District, while the WQCD transmitter is located in Delaware. Cumulus Media Networks was an American radio network owned and operated by Cumulus Media. From 2011 until its merger with Westwood One, it controlled many of the radio assets formerly belonging to the American Broadcasting Company (ABC), which was broken up in 2007; Cumulus owned the portion of the network that was purchased by Citadel Broadcasting that year. The True Oldies Channel
Scott Shannon's True Oldies Channel (also known more recently as ''The True Oldies Channel: Greatest Hits'') is a radio network begun in the spring of 2004. Originally distributed by ABC Radio Networks via satellite, the service plays a hybrid oldies/classic hits format comprising music mostly from 1964 to 1979 but also plays selected cuts from the 1955-1963 era and also from the 1980s. As of September 22, 2016, it is distributed via United Stations Radio Networks. Prior to June 30, 2014; the service had over 100 affiliate stations across the United States. The service is available 24 hours a day online. Some stations ran the format full-time 24/7 while a few others ran it on overnights only. Michael Scott Shannon (born July 25, 1947) is an American radio disc jockey who hosted the morning show for WCBS-FM in New York City from 2014 to 2022 as well as ''Scott Shannon Presents America's Greatest Hits'' which is syndicated nationally with United Stations Radio Networks and Audacy. He previously worked for WHTZ, WPLJ, ''The True Oldies Channel'', and '' The Sean Hannity Show''. Don Cheto (born 1942 in Municipality of Zamora de Hidalgo, as ''"El Hombre del Vozarrón"'' ("the loud-voiced man"), is a fictional Mexican American radio and television personality widely known in Mexican American pop culture.
