''WNBA on CBS'' is an American television sports presentation show broadcast by CBS. It premiered on May 25, 2019. The consist of branding used for presentation of Women's National Basketball Association. Background Terms of the deal On April 22, 2019, CBS Sports Network and the WNBA struck a deal to televise 40 games in primetime and on weekends during the 2019 season. The games broadcast on CBS from local broadcasts already airing on the WNBA's streaming site, WNBA League Pass. Production Initially, most games were broadcast via clean feeds provided by the league and the home team's regional broadcaster. Beginning in the 2024 season, the games carried on the CBS network are now produced in-house by CBS Sports, with the clean feed productions now used solely for games on CBS Sports Network. 2025 Indiana Fever Season
The 2025 Indiana Fever season is the franchise's 26th season in the WNBA and their 3rd season under head coach, Stephanie White, who returns to the franchise where she was previously coached the Fever from 2015 to 2016. In August 2024, the WNBA announced that the Fever would host 2025 WNBA All-Star Game and related events in July 2025 for the first time in franchise history. Tickets for All-Star weekend events went on sale on April 29, 2025, and sold out within seven hours. The Fever finished 6th in the 2024 regular season, making the playoffs for the first time since 2016. 2025 Chicago Sky Season
The 2025 Chicago Sky season is the franchise's 20th season in the Women's National Basketball Association, and their first season under head coach Tyler Marsh, who was hired on November 3, 2024. On May 18, 2025, the WNBA announced they had opened an investigation regarding, "allegations of inappropriate fan conduct" directed at Chicago Sky players occurring their May 17 season opener at the Indiana Fever. Sky head coach, Tyler Marsh, told the press that he and his team did not report or witness any misconduct while at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and only learned about the allegations after the game had concluded. Nine days later, the WNBA announced their investigation was complete, and all allegations of racist fan behavior were unsubstantiated. The 2025 WNBA season is the ongoing 29th season of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The regular season began on May 16, 2025, and is scheduled to end on September 11. The fifth edition of the WNBA Commissioner's Cup will be held from June 1 to July 1. The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game will be held on July 19, 2025, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. 2022 WNBA Season
The 2022 WNBA season was the 26th season of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The Chicago Sky were the defending champions. The WNBA's second Commissioner's Cup took place during the regular season, with the Las Vegas Aces winning over the Sky. In the playoffs, the Aces were the first seed and won the Finals over the Connecticut Sun. The regular season was expanded to 36 games per team, is the most games scheduled in a single WNBA season. 2021 Dallas Wings Season
The 2021 Dallas Wings season was the franchise's 24th season in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and the 6th season for the franchise in Dallas. This was the first season under new head coach Vickie Johnson, after she was hired on December 9, 2020. The Wings had the #1 and #2 picks in the 2021 WNBA draft. They selected Charli Collier and Awak Kuier, while also adding top talents in Chelsea Dungee and Dana Evans. 2021 Washington Mystics Season
The 2021 Washington Mystics season was the franchise's 24th season in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The regular season tipped off versus the Chicago Sky on May 15, 2021. The Mystics struggled to start the season only winning two of their six games in the month of May. Their fortunes rebounded when they posted a .500 winning percentage through June and in their two games in July before the Olympic break. In closing out their pre-Olympic schedule they won in overtime versus the Chicago Sky to finish the first portion of the schedule with an 8–10 record.
