WFND-LD (channel 19) is a low-power television station licensed to Findlay, Ohio, United States, serving the Toledo area as a Buckeye Cable Sports Network affiliate owned by Block Communications. Its licensee is West Central Ohio Broadcasting, Inc., a Block subsidiary. Block also owns several other assets in Northwestern Ohio, including '' The Blade'', Buckeye Broadband and WLIO. Engineering operations and monitoring are performed from West Central Ohio Broadcasting's operation center at 1424 Rice Avenue in Lima. The engineering supervisor is Frederick Vobbe. WLIO
WLIO (channel 8) is a television station in Lima, Ohio, United States, affiliated with NBC and Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox. It is owned by Block Communications alongside WOHL-CD (channel 35), which broadcasts American Broadcasting Company, ABC and CBS. The two stations (and two repeaters)—which all operate under the collective banner of "Your Hometown Stations"—share studios on Rice Avenue northwest of downtown; WLIO's transmitter is located on Saint Clair Avenue north of downtown. Buckeye Cable Sports Network
BCSN is a regional sports network founded in 2003 (and first went on the air on January 7, 2004) to carry sports broadcasting, which had previously been aired on fellow cable-only station WT05. Overview The station airs Toledo Mud Hens games, BGSU ice hockey and other BGSU sports, University of Toledo sports, high school sports including the Northwest Hockey Conference, college basketball, and other sports games. The network also had broadcast rights to carry the Cleveland Indians. Previously BCSN carried Toledo Storm hockey games from 2004 to 2007 and starting in 2009, the network began carrying every home game of the Toledo Walleye ECHL hockey team. ''The Blade'', also known as the ''Toledo Blade'', is a newspaper in Toledo, Ohio, published daily online and printed Thursday and Sunday by Block Communications. The newspaper was first published on December 19, 1835. Overview The first issue of what was then the ''Toledo Blade'' was printed on December 19, 1835.
