Appleton ( mez, Ahkōnemeh) is a city in Outagamie, Calumet, and Winnebago counties in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. One of the Fox Cities, it is situated on the Fox River, southwest of Green Bay and north of Milwaukee. Appleton is the county seat of Outagamie County. WEMY is a Christian radio station broadcasting on 91.5 FM, serving the Green Bay, Wisconsin area. The station's format consists of Christian adult contemporary music with some Christian talk and teaching. WEMY is also heard in the Manitowoc– Two Rivers area through a translator on 95.5. It is part of "The Family" radio network based at WEMI in Appleton. Prior to being a Christian radio station, 91.5 in Green Bay was established as WGBW, the radio station of the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay (UWGB), which later was absorbed into the Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) network. The establishment of the higher-powered WHID (88.1 FM) superseded WGBW as a public station and led to the sale of the frequency to its present owners. Fond du Lac () is a city in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 44,678 at the 2020 census. The city forms the core of the United States Census Bureau's Fond du Lac Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Fond du Lac County (2020 population: 104,154). Fond du Lac is the 348th largest Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) in the United States. Ripon, Wisconsin
Ripon is a city in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 7,733 at the 2010 census. The city is surrounded by the Town of Ripon. Ripon is home to the Little White Schoolhouse, the commonly recognized birthplace of the Republican Party. History Founding Ripon was founded in 1849 by David P. Mapes, a former New York steamboat captain. Within two years the city had absorbed the nearby commune of Ceresco, established in 1844 by the Wisconsin Phalanx, a group of settlers inspired by the communitarian socialist philosophy of Charles Fourier. Mapes was a founder of Ripon College, originally incorporated as Brockway College in 1851. The city was named for the English cathedral city of Ripon, North Yorkshire, by John S.
