WCLZ (98.9 FM broadcasting, FM) is a radio station licensed to North Yarmouth, Maine, with studios located in Portland, Maine. WCME (900 kHz; "Radio Midcoast") is a commercial AM broadcasting, AM radio station City of licence, licensed to Brunswick, Maine, and serving Maine's Mid Coast; on-air, the station is currently known as "Radio Midcoast WCME 99-5 FM & 900 AM". WPPI
WPPI (95.5 FM) is a sports radio station in the Portland, Maine, area. The station is owned by Atlantic Coast Radio. WPPI serves as a simulcast of WPEI (95.9 FM) in Saco. Both stations, in turn, mostly carry the same programs as WEEI-FM from Boston. Some local commercials take the place of Boston commercials, and some WEEI-FM game broadcasts are substituted with Fox Sports Radio. WPPI also carries University of Maine Black Bear football and ice hockey, and Portland Pirates ice hockey. WARX
WARX (93.9 FM) is a non-commercial radio station in Lewiston, Maine that features worship music programming from Air1. It is under ownership of the Educational Media Foundation. The station (at that time WCYI), along with co-owned WCLZ, was transferred to The Last Bastion Station Trust, LLC, due to parent company Citadel Broadcasting buying out ABC Radio. The station kept the Opie & Anthony Sho In October 2007 Saga Communications bought WCLZ, dropping the simulcast but keeping the Opie & Anthony Show, thus resulting in WCYI programming an automated Blues format in October 2007. The station has had several previous on-air slogans including ''Eagle 94'' as an oldies formatted station. WGAN (560 AM) is an commercial radio station licensed to Portland, Maine. The station is owned by Saga Communications and it airs a news/talk radio format. The station calls itself "Newsradio WGAN AM 560 and FM 98.5" The studios and offices are on Western Avenue in South Portland, Maine. WPOR (101.9 FM) is a radio station in Portland, Maine, that broadcasts a country music radio format. It is owned by Saga Communications. History WPOR has had the same format since it signed on as an FM simulcast of 1490 WPOR, now WBAE, on October 31, 1967. WPOR was owned by Hildreth Broadcasting Corporation at that time. On March 2, 1971 WPOR and WPOR-FM were sold to Ocean Coast Properties. 25 years later in March 1996 WPOR and WPOR-FM were sold again, this time to current owner Saga Communications for $10 million. Atlantic Coast Radio, LLC is a radio company formed by longtime broadcaster J. J. Jeffrey and his partner Bob Fuller. It was incorporated in 1982 and has a staff of approximately twenty. Its studios are located at 779 Warren Ave. in Portland, Maine. Jeffrey and Fuller had also been partners in Fuller-Jeffrey Broadcasting. Fuller-Jeffrey's portfolio included WBLM and WOKQ. The company was sold to Citadel Broadcasting for $63 million in 1999.
