WBQC-LD (channel 25) is a low-power television station in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, affiliated with the Spanish-language network Telemundo. It is owned by Gray Media alongside Fox affiliate WXIX-TV (channel 19) and 24/7 weather channel WZCD-LD (channel 30). The three stations share studios at 19 Broadcast Plaza on Seventh Street in the Queensgate neighborhood just west of downtown Cincinnati; WBQC-LD's transmitter is located on Symmes Street in the Mount Auburn section of the city. According to its website, WBQC was the first television station to be fully automated. It was also the first station in Cincinnati to perform "digital spot insertion" and to air Spanish-language commercials. WOTH-CD
WOTH-CD (channel 20) was a low-power, Class A television station in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Owned by Elliott B. Block's Block Broadcasting, it was a sister station to WBQC-LD (channel 25). WOTH's transmitter was located along Symmes Street, just south of East McMillan Street in Cincinnati (shared with ABC affiliate WCPO-TV, channel 9). History WOTH was previously branded as "The Other Channel". It began on June 7, 1994, as W35BA (channel 35), broadcasting programming from America's Store that had previously aired on WBQC. It soon moved to channel 39, becoming W39CG. In 2001, the station became WOTH-LP and moved to channel 38. WOTH adopted a simplified version of WBQC's old "25 TV" logo. The Star Television Network (commonly branded as Starcast initially, then STN, prior to launch, then Star from its launch up to the network's shutdown), was an attempt, though unsuccessful, at a fifth television network based in Orlando, Florida. The network was notable as the first television network to have featured exclusively direct response commercials and infomercials among standard programming.
