The Bancroft Prize is awarded each year by the trustees of Columbia University for books about diplomacy or the history of the Americas. The Wesley Logan Prize is an annual prize given to a historian by the Association for the Study of African American Life and History, Association for the Study of Afro-American Life & History Background The Wesley-Logan Prize is jointly sponsored by the American Historical Association and the Association for the Study of African American Life.
