Víctor Hugo Ávalos
Víctor Hugo Ávalos Acosta (6 November 1971 – 2 April 2009) was a Paraguayan footballer most remembered for his spells at Quilmes, Independiente Medellín and in Chilean football. Mainly a central midfielder who could also operate as an attacking playmaker, he died in 2009 from a heart attack during an amateur football game. Club career Born in the capital Asunción, Ávalos joined hometown's Club Cerro Corá, growing up at the club's football academy and making his Primera División debut in 1990, aged 19. Quilmes His style of play caught the attention of Argentine Primera División side Quilmes Atlético Club, and he went on to play all the games of the 1991–92 season for the Buenos Aires-based outfit, with Nelson Vivas as teammate. Club Silvio Pettirossi, is a Paraguayan football club based in the barrio of Republicano, in Asunción. The club was founded March 11, 1926 and plays in the Primera División B, third division of the Paraguayan league. Their home games are played at the Bernabé Pedrozo stadium. Curicó Unido is a football club based in Curicó, Maule Region, Chile. They currently play in the Primera B de Chile, the second level of the Chilean football system. They are currently managed by Héctor Almandoz. History Curicó Unido was founded on 26 February 1973, with ''Edmundo Rojas'' as the first President of the club. A myocardial infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack, occurs when Ischemia, blood flow decreases or stops in one of the coronary arteries of the heart, causing infarction (tissue death) to the heart muscle.
