Vågosen
Vågosen or Vågos is a village in Aure Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Geography Vågosen lies on the south side of the island of Ertvågsøy along Arasvikfjord, Arasvik Fjord at the mouth of the Vågos River (''Vågoselva''). There are road connections to Vågosen via Norwegian County Road 682, County Road 682 from the north and Norwegian County Road 362 (Møre og Romsdal), County Road 362 from the east. The Arasvika–Hennset Ferry, ferry west of the village connects Vågosen to Hennset in Heim Municipality and European route E39. Norwegian County Road 362 (Møre Og Romsdal)
County Road 362 () is a road in Aure Municipality. The road branches off from Norwegian County Road 680, County Road 680 at the Mjosund Bridge in Giset and runs south along the east coast of the island of Ertvågsøya. It then turns west and runs along the shore above Arasvikfjord, Arasvik Fjord until it terminates in Vågosen at the junction with Norwegian County Road 682, County Road 682, just before the Arasvika–Hennset Ferry, ferry dock in Arasvika. The road is also named ''Mjosundvegen'' (Mjosund Road) after the strait that it runs parallel to along its northern stretch. The road is subject to landslides in places. Norwegian County Road 682
County Road 682 () is a road in Aure Municipality (in Møre og Romsdal county) and Heim Municipality (in Trøndelag county) in Norway. In addition to its land length, the route also includes a ferry connection. The road branches off from County Road 680 at Espset and runs south across the island of Ertvågsøya, first along the east shore of Foldfjord and then along the east shore of the lake ''Skausetvatnet''. County Road 362 branches off to the east at Vågosen just before the road reaches the ferry dock at Arasvika. There the route continues via ferry across Arasvik Fjord to Hennset, where it joins European route E39. The road is also named ''Arasvikvegen'' (Arasvika Road) for its entire length. Prior to January 1, 2010, the route was a national road, but control and maintenance of the road was transferred to the counties from the national government on that date, and so now it is a county road. Arasvikfjord
Arasvikfjorden () is a fjord on the border of Møre og Romsdal and Trøndelag counties in Norway. The fjord is located between Aure Municipality (in Møre og Romsdal) and Heim Municipality (in Trøndelag). The fjord is part of the larger Vinjefjorden, near where the Valsøyfjorden branches off to the south. European route E39 runs along the south shore of the fjord, through the village of Valsøyfjord. The ferry from Hennset to Arasvika crosses the fjord. The Arasvikfjorden is known for its fishery of cod, coalfish, pollock, mackerel, common ling, tusk, and several types of flatfish. It was in the Arasvikfjord that the famous killer whale Keiko, from the movie ''Free Willy'', spent his final days.
