Vyaçeslav Lıçkin
Vyacheslav Lychkin (; born 30 September 1973) is a retired Azerbaijani professional footballer. He made his professional debut in the Soviet Second League in 1989 for FC Termist Baku. International career For Azerbaijan, Lychkin is capped 45 times, scoring 4 goal. He made his national team debut on 26 April 1995 against Romania in Euro 1996 qualifying. He scored his first goal on 27 February 1996 against Faroe Islands in a friendly match. UEFA Euro 1996 Qualifying
Qualifying for UEFA Euro 1996 took place throughout 1994 and 1995. Forty-seven teams were divided into eight groups, with each team playing the others in their group both home and away. The winners of each group and the six best runners-up qualified automatically, while the two worst runners-up were involved in a play-off at a neutral venue. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. The Soviet Second League (, Soviet football championship (Second League)) was the third highest division of Soviet Union, Soviet football (soccer), football, below the Soviet First League.
