Collins Chabane Local Municipality
Collins Chabane Municipality (; ) is a local municipality within the Vhembe District Municipality, in the Limpopo province of South Africa. It was established after the August 2016 local elections by merging portions of the Thulamela and Makhado local municipalities. Malamulele is the seat of the municipality. It is named after Collins Chabane, South African Minister of Public Service and Administration who died of the car crash on March 15, 2015. Malamulele can refer to the town of Malamulele or the area of Malamulele. Both the town (approximately in the center of the area) and area are in the Limpopo, Limpopo province of South Africa and predominantly occupied by Tsonga people. South African Standard Time (SAST) is the time zone used by all of South Africa as well as Eswatini and Lesotho. The zone is two hours ahead of UTC ( UTC+02:00) and is the same as Central Africa Time. Daylight saving time is not observed in either time zone. Solar noon in this time zone occurs at 30° E in SAST, effectively making Pietermaritzburg at the correct solar noon point, with Johannesburg and Pretoria slightly west at 28° E and Durban slightly east at 31° E. Limpopo
Limpopo () is the northernmost Provinces of South Africa, province of South Africa. It is named after the Limpopo River, which forms the province's western and northern borders.
