Voyager are an Australian progressive metal band from Perth, Western Australia, formed in 1999. They have released eight studio albums. Their latest, '' Fearless in Love'', was released in 2023. The band represented Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song " Promise", finishing in ninth place. History 1999–2003: Formation and ''Element V'' Voyager formed in 1999 at the University of Western Australia by Daniel Estrin, Mark Baker, and Adam Lovkis. The band saw a few line-up changes before recording the album ''Element V'' in 2003 with Aidan Barton at Sovereign Studios, Willetton, Western Australia. Season Of Mist
Season of Mist is an independent record label and record distributor with subsidiaries in France and the United States. The record label was founded in 1996 by Michael S. Berberian in Marseille, France. From the start releasing black metal, pagan metal, and death metal records, the label moved on to releasing albums of avant-garde metal, gothic metal and punk bands as well. The label has two offices, one in Marseille, France and one in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Season of Mist's name originates from '' The Sandman: Season of Mists'', which in turn comes from the opening phrase of John Keats' "To Autumn". ProgPower Europe (formerly ProgPower) is a progressive metal festival held annually in the Netherlands since 1999. Notable headliners have included Sons of Apollo, Evergrey, and Caligula's Horse. History The beginnings of ProgPower Europe started in November 1998 by René Janssen (mostly known from his activities for the Dutch Progressive Rock Pages) decided the time had come for a special event in the progressive metal scene. A contest was held to name the festival; Peter Renfro (founder of the ProgDay Festival in the US) submitted ProgPower, which was deemed the best. George Marino (April 15, 1947June 4, 2012) was an American mastering engineer known for working on albums by rock bands starting in the late 1960s. Biography Marino was born on April 15, 1947, in the New York City borough The Bronx. He attended Christopher Columbus High School (Bronx), Christopher Columbus High School there and learned to play the saxophone and bass fiddle in the high school band and was classically trained on guitar. Marino broke into the music business as a guitarist playing rock and roll in local New York City bands such as The Chancellors and The New Sounds Ltd. until most of the band members were drafted into the service for the war in Vietnam. Maylands is a riverside inner-city list of Perth suburbs, suburb approximately northeast of Perth centred on the Midland, High Wycombe and Ellenbrook railway lines on the northern bank of the Swan River (Western Australia), Swan River. House of Lords is an American rock band based in Connecticut, with members in New Jersey and Florida. History House of Lords was formed in 1987 by former Angel member and keyboardist Gregg Giuffria following his solo project Giuffria.
