"Vox Humana" is a song by Kenny Loggins and the title track from his 1985 album of the same name. The song represents Loggins' musical experiment with synthpop. It was written by Loggins and Eva Ein, and produced by the former. It was released as the lead single on March 15, 1985 by Columbia Records from the album, and peaked at No. 29 on ''Billboard'' Hot 100. It also the first song by Loggins after ''Footloose'' and is one of the first songs produced by himself. Robert Campbell (American Artist)
Robert Campbell (18 April 1951 – 28 May 2004) was an American artist and writer from Marshall, Texas. He studied art for two years at Stephen F. Austin State University, then moved to Los Angeles, where he showed at Gallerie Rabindra. In the 1980s and 1990s, he worked as a scenic painter on MTV music videos, film, and theater. Kenneth Clark "Kenny" Loggins (born January 7, 1948) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. His early songs were recorded with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in 1970, which led to seven albums recorded with Jim Messina (musician), Jim Messina as Loggins and Messina from 1972 to 1977. ''Footloose: Original Soundtrack of the Paramount Motion Picture'' is the soundtrack album to the Paramount motion picture ''Footloose''. The original nine-track album was released in 1984 and reached number one on the US ''Billboard'' 200 chart on April 21, 1984, where it stayed until June 23, 1984. It contained six ''Billboard'' Hot 100 Top 40 hits, three of which reached the Top 10, including two number-one hits, "Footloose" by Kenny Loggins and "Let's Hear It for the Boy" by Deniece Williams. Synth-pop (short for synthesizer pop; also called techno-pop; ) is a music genre that first became prominent in the late 1970s and features the synthesizer as the dominant musical instrument.
