Vorë ( sq-definite, Vora) is a municipality in Tirana County, central Albania. It was formed at the 2015 local government reform by the merger of the former municipalities Bërxullë, Prezë and Vorë, that became municipal units. The seat of the municipality is the town Vorë. The total population is 21,621 as of the 2023 census, in a total area of . The population of the municipal unit is 8,969. History There is a medieval castle in the constituent village of Prezë. Batuk Vora
Batukrai H Vora (1930–2004) was a journalist from Palitana, Gujarat, India. He represented Palitana constituency from 1972 to 1975. 1949-1950 he worked with ''Jay Gujarat'' and ''Mashal'', Gujarati language-journalist published in Bombay. He then became involved in trade union struggles and joined the Communist Party of India. After returning to journalistic work, he wrote for the CPI party organ New Age. He also worked for ''India Abroad'', and was its correspondent in San Francisco, United States. In the 1978 Gujarat state assembly elections he contested and won the Palitana seat in Bhavnagar district as a CPI candidate. He is the only CPI candidate in history which has won a seat in the Gujarat state assembly. Motilal Vora
Motilal Vora (20 December 1928 – 21 December 2020) was an Indian politician belonging to the Indian National Congress (INC). He served as Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh (1985–1988; 1989). He was born in Nimbi Jodha, Jodhpur State, British India. He was also Governor of Uttar Pradesh from 1993 to 1996. Early life Vora was born on 20 December 1928 at Nimbi Jodha in Jodhpur State of British India's Rajputana Agency (present-day Nagaur district, Rajasthan) to a Pushkarna Brahmin family. Neeraj Vora (22 January 1963 14 December 2017) was an Indian film director, writer, actor and composer from Gujarat. He made a mark in Bollywood with his work as a writer for Ram Gopal Verma's film '' Rangeela'' (1995).
