Vom Ca-nhum
Vom Ca-nhum (; born 1965) is a Taiwanese football manager and former professional footballer. He is currently the head coach of Hong Kong Premier League club Rangers. Early life Vom was born to a Taiwanese father and an East Timorese mother. Managerial career In 2019, Vom was appointed manager of Shanxi Metropolis, becoming the first Taiwanese manager to coach a Chinese team. In February 2020, Vom was appointed as Chinese Taipei head coach, having been one of only a small number of coaches on the island with an AFC Pro A coaching license. He was sacked in October 2021, due to mismanagement of the team. In July 2020, Vom succeeded Toshiaki Imai as manager of Taiwan Football Premier League team Taichung Futuro. On 13 May 2023, Rangers director Philip Lee announced that Vom would be the head coach of the club for 2023–24 AFC Champions League matches in order to fulfil AFC License requirements. AFC Professional Coaching Diploma
The AFC Professional Coaching Diploma, also known as the AFC Pro-Diploma, is the highest level of coaching accreditation issued by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The diploma was first awarded by the AFC in 2001. The AFC considers the diploma the equivalent of the UEFA Pro Licence. Structure Students are required to have completed the B coaching certificate. Shanxi (; ; formerly romanised as Shansi) is a landlocked province of the People's Republic of China and is part of the North China region. The capital and largest city of the province is Taiyuan, while its next most populated prefecture-level cities are Changzhi and Datong. The 2023–24 AFC Champions League will be the 42nd edition of Asia's premier club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the 21st under the current AFC Champions League title. This season is the first to have an inter-year schedule from September (autumn-to-spring) instead of an intra-year schedule (spring-to-autumn) since the 2002–03 season.
