Arzani-Volpini
Arzani-Volpini (also known as Scuderia Volpini) was an Italian Formula One constructor, established by Gian Paolo Volpini and engine-builder Egidio Arzani. Volpini was initially involved in the lower classes of Formula racing, such as Formula Junior and Formula Three. Volpini joined forces with Arzani in 1954, hoping to enter the Formula One World Championship. To this end, the team purchased the chassis of the 1950 Formula One season, 1950 Scuderia Milano-Maserati in motorsport, Maserati for the 1955 Formula One season. The team subsequently improved the engine and the bodywork of the car. The body was constructed by Carrozzeria Colli. It was entered in the 1955 Valentino Grand Prix for Mario Alborghetti, but it could not be constructed in time. The team made its debut in the Pau Grand Prix, 1955 Grand Prix de Pau, where Alborghetti suffered a fatal crash. Augusto Volpini (1832 – 1911 or 1923) was an Italian painter, mainly genre paintings and portraits. He was born in Livorno, and initially trained with the Livornese painter Giovanni Bartolena. Among his works: ''Varietà'', ''Daydreaming child'', and ''Il colpo di grazia''. In 1886 at Livorno, he exhibited ''Una mosca simpatica''. Braian Alexis Volpini (born 16 June 1998) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Italian Eccellenza side Fabbrico. Career Volpini's career with Belgrano began in 2017, when he made his debut on 22 June as a second-half substitute in an Argentine Primera División match against Newell's Old Boys. In January 2018, Volpini joined Maltese Premier League side Senglea Athletic on loan. He featured five times, prior to signing permanently in the following August. Goals followed in 2018–19 against Valletta, St. Andrews and Tarxien Rainbows as they placed eleventh. On 25 July 2019, Volpini moved to Italy with Serie B's Livorno. However, in September, Volpini would join Eccellenza Campania team Puteolana. He left in 2020. The Volpini Exhibition was an exhibition of paintings arranged by Paul Gauguin and his circle held at the Café des Arts on the Champ de Mars, not far from the official art pavilion of the 1889 ''Exposition universelle'' in Paris. A poster and an illustrated catalogue were printed, but the show of "Paintings by the Impressionist and Synthetist Group", held in June and early July 1889, was ignored by the press and proved to be a failure. Background The official art exhibition at the Académie des Beaux-Arts accompanying the ''Exposition universelle'' displayed works by invited artists only, and the selection of works to be exhibited had to pass the judgement of official juries. Neither Gauguin nor his friends could hope to enter this exhibition. Xavier Tondo Volpini
Xavier Tondo Volpini (5 November 1978 in Valls, Spain – 23 May 2011 in Monachil, Spain) was a Spanish professional road racing cyclist who specialized in mountain stages of bicycle races. Death Tondo was killed after being apparently trapped between his own garage door and car, and crushed by the door, while preparing his bicycle for a training ride. Teammate Beñat Intxausti was with him at the time of the accident. To commemorate Xavier Tondo the 100%Tondo sportive is held yearly, starting in Sant Joan les Fonts and finishing in Vallter 2000. Doping refusal In February 2011, it was reported that a pro cyclist had tipped off police about a doping ring. Tondo was later identified as that cyclist. According to the Spanish newspaper ''El País'', Tondo received an email in December 2010, which offered several doping products, including EPO, human growth hormone, Nandrolone, and Clenbuterol, all at low prices.
