Vlastislav
Vlastislav was mythological prince of Lucko (by Žatec). Son of legendary Czech prince Vojen, a brother of another prince Vnislav. However, the Chronicle of Dalimil and Cosmas disagree on what happened after the death of Prince Nezamysl. By Dalimil: After him Mnata, then Voyen, of whom we know only that he was still full of strength when he divided the land among his sons. By Kosmas: Lucko ceased the rule of prince Neklan whose army in the conflict by Tursko scored a hard Lucko's army of Vlastislav. Vlastimil Brodský
Vlastimil Brodský (15 December 1920 – 20 April 2002) was a Czech actor. He appeared in more than one hundred films, and is considered a key figure in the postwar development of Czech cinema. One of his best-known roles was as the title character in '' Jakob der Lügner'' for which he won the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 25th Berlin International Film Festival. Josef Vlastimil Burian, better known as Vlasta Burian, (9 April 1891 – 31 January 1962) was a Czechs, Czech actor, singer, comedian, footballer and film director. He is among the most famous Czech actors and comedians of the first half of the 20th century. In the Czech Republic, he is nicknamed "King of Comedians". Early life Vlasta Burian was born on 9 April 1891 in Liberec to a tailor, patriot and volunteer Antonín Burian (*1863) and his five years older wife Maria Burianová, née Škaloudová (*1858), who had a daughter Žofia Picková (*1884) from a previous marriage. Vlastislav Hofman (6 February 1884 – 28 August 1964) was an artist and architect who lived and worked first in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and later in Czechoslovakia. Though he was a painter, set designer, graphic artist, furniture designer, and author, Hofman is best known as an architect strongly influenced by Cubism. Life Born in Jičín in Bohemia, Hofman studied architecture in Prague from 1902 to 1907. He was otherwise self-taught in the arts. He was active in avant garde art movements in his homeland, and he associated with artists and writers of the time, including Karel Čapek. Vlastimil Hort (12 January 1944 – 12 May 2025) was a Czech and German chess grandmaster. During the 1960s and 1970s he was one of the world's strongest players and reached the World Chess Championship 1978, 1977–78 Candidates Tournament for the World Chess Championship, but never qualified for a competition for the actual title. Vlastimil Kopecký
Vlastimil Kopecký (14 October 1912 – 30 July 1967) was a Czech football player. He played 26 games for Czechoslovakia, scoring eight goals. He was a participant in the 1934 and 1938 FIFA World Cups. Club career There were rumours that Kopecky was to transfer to Slavia Prague or Sparta Prague from Rapid Vinohrady in early November 1931. However in mid-November, Rapid announced that he was not to do so. Playing for Slavia Prague, he scored 252 league goals in 325 matches (1932-1950). He twice scored five goals in a single match for Slavia. He is the second highest Czech league goalscorer in history, only Josef Bican has scored more goals in the Czech league. Vlastimil Lejsek (21 July 1927 – 12 March 2010 in Brno) was a Czech composer and pianist. Biography Lejsek was born on 21 July 1927 in Brno. He was the son of the Moravian choirmaster František Květoslav Lejsek. He studied at the Brno Conservatory and the Academies of Music in both Prague and Brno with František Schafer, Jan Erml and František Maxián.
