Vladimir Alexandrovich Nechaev (; 28 July 1908 — 11 April 1969) was a Soviet singer, a lyric tenor. A holder of the title of Meritorious Artist of the RSFSR since 1959. A soloist of the USSR All-State Radio since 1942. The original performer of a number of songs by such composers as Boris Mokrousov, Vasily Solovyov-Sedoi, Matvey Blanter Matvey Isaakovich Blanter (27 September 1990) was a Soviet composer, and one of the most prominent composers of popular songs and film music in the Soviet Union. Vasily Pavlovich Solovyov-Sedoy (; – 2 December 1979) was a Soviet classical composer and songwriter who was born and died in Leningrad. Originally named Solovyov, when he entered the Union of Soviet Composers he added the suffix "Sedoy", meaning grey-haired, to avoid confusion with another composer with the same surname. Solovyov-Sedoy composed the music for many songs such as "Moscow Nights" () and " Nightingales" (). He also wrote music for numerous films. Matvey Blanter
Matvey Isaakovich Blanter (27 September 1990) was a Soviet composer, and one of the most prominent composers of popular songs and film music in the Soviet Union. Among many other works, he wrote the famous "Katyusha" (1938), performed to this day internationally. He was active as a composer until 1975, producing more than two thousand songs. Childhood and education Blanter, the son of a Jewish craftsman, was born in the town of Pochep, then in the Chernigov Governorate of the Russian Empire. He studied piano and violin at the Kursk Higher Music School. From 1917 to 1919, he continued his education in Moscow, studying violin and composition. Career Blanter's first songs were composed in the 1920s. At the time, he wrote light dance and jazz music, including "John Gray" (1923), a foxtrot that became a major hit. Vladimir Bunchikov
Vladimir Bunchikov (; 21 November 1902, Yekaterinoslav – 17 March 1995, Moscow) was a Soviet baritone and Honoured Artist of Russia (1944). In Simferopol he was a scenery operator at the Drama Theatre. After graduating from the Dnepropetrovsk Music College, he studied in Leningrad. From 1929 he was a soloist at the Opera in Dnepropetrovsk, and from 1931 at the Nemirovicha-Danchenko Musical Theatre in Moscow. From 1934, he recorded songs. With V. Kandelaki he sang jazz, and he sang with the popular orchestra directed by B. Knushevitsky, and with the Alexandrov Ensemble directed by Boris Alexandrov on All-Union Radio. His main repertoire was the songs of Soviet composers. From 1942 to 1967 he was a soloist of the All-Union Radio.
