Vladimir Dašić
Vladimir Dašić (, ; born 13 May 1988) is a Montenegrin professional basketball player for KK Danilovgrad of the Montenegrin Basketball League, Montenegrin League. He is in height and he plays as both a small forward and a power forward (basketball), power forward. Professional career Dašić began his professional career in the YUBA League, Serbia and Montenegro League with KK Buducnost Podgorica, Budućnost Podgorica in 2004. There, Dašić made a name for himself and was widely considered at the time as one of the best young players in Europe and attracted interest from many big European clubs. On 26 August 2009 he transferred to the Spanish ACB League club Real Madrid Baloncesto, Real Madrid. At Madrid, Dašić had a limited playing time and with the arrival of Ante Tomić (basketball), Ante Tomić his playing time became even more reduced so he was loaned out to CB Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria. YUBA League
The YUBA League was the top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia and Montenegro (previously FR Yugoslavia). Founded in 1992 and folded in 2006, it was run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and Montenegro. The name ''YUBA League'' (Yugoslav Basketball Association League) was used in Serbia and Montenegro until 2006. It consisted of the first-stage "First League", and the second-stage "Super League", with each having their own men's and women's divisions. The FIBA U18 EuroBasket is the new name for the FIBA U18 European Championship, originally known as the FIBA European Championship for Juniors.
