Vivien Brisse
Vivien Brisse (born 8 April 1988) is a track cyclist from France who also competed on the road. In 2011 he won the bronze medal in the madison at the 2011 UEC European Track Championships, together with Morgan Kneisky, in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. Two years later they became world champion in the Men's madison at the 2013 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. 2011 UEC European Track Championships
The 2011 European Track Championships was the second edition of the elite European Track Championships in track cycling and took place at the Omnisport Arena in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, between 21 and 23 October. All ten Olympic events, ( sprint, team sprint, keirin, team pursuit and omnium all for both men and women) and the non-Olympic men's madison championship and points races for both genders were held as part of the championships. The Championships were a qualification event for the 2012 Olympic Games. The opening night of competition was marred by technical difficulties, specifically the mechanical breakdown of the fixed gates system. as a result of which all releases reverted to hand or manual releases. This mechanical difficulty caused two German false starts in the Women's Team Pursuit final, and may have played some part in the shock failure of Great Britain to make the medal finals in the Men's Team Sprint event. Tissot SA () is a Swiss watchmaker. The company was founded in Le Locle, Switzerland by Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son, Charles-Émile Tissot, in 1853. Morgan Kneisky
Morgan Kneisky (born 31 August 1987) is a French former track and road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2010 and 2020 for the , , and squads. Kneisky is a four-time UCI Track Cycling World Championships gold medallist, winning golds in the madison in 2013 with Vivien Brisse, 2015 with Bryan Coquard and 2017 with Benjamin Thomas, and the scratch in 2009. He retired following the 2021 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. Biography Morgan Kneisky began cycling as a youngster, when he joined the Amicale Cycliste Bisontine. In 2008, he joined the Chambéry Cyclisme Formation, a team in the top national division. That year, he won the Tour de Moselle. In 2009, Kneisky participated in his first Track Cycling World Championships, and came away with the Scratch race title. Track Cycling
Track cycling is a bicycle racing sport usually held on specially built banked tracks or velodromes using purpose-designed track bicycles. History Track cycling has been around since at least 1870. When track cycling was in its infancy, it was held on velodromes similar to the ones used today. These velodromes consisted of two straights and slightly banked turns, though they varied more in length and material than the modern 250m track.
