Francesca Archibugi
Francesca Archibugi (; born 16 May 1960) is an Italian film director and scriptwriter. Life and career Born and raised in Rome in an intellectual family (her elder brother is the political and economic theorist Daniele Archibugi), she started to study acting with Alessandro Fersen and graduated in Film Direction from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. From 1980 to 1983 she directed short films such as ''La piccola avventura'' (1981), about handicapped children, and acted in ''La caduta degli angeli ribelli'' (1981), directed by Marco Tullio Giordana and starring Alida Valli. She filmed the short ''Un sogno truffato'' in 1984 with the Lualdi-Interlenghi duo and played the neurotic intellectual woman in Giuseppe Bertolucci's film '' Segreti, segreti'' (1986), again starring Alida Valli, and with Rossana Podestà, Lea Massari, Lina Sastri and Stefania Sandrelli. Francesco Piccolo (born 1964) is an Italian author of novels, short stories and screen plays. Enrico Montesano (born 7 June 1945) is an Italian actor and showman. Career Montesano comes from a family involved in theatre, and he made his debut in 1966 in a show named ''Humor nero'', alongside of Vittorio Metz. Later he became a very popular actor both on theatre and on television, thanks to his burlesque and brilliant style, and so during seventies he took part in several Italian comedies. Valentina Cervi (born 13 April 1976) is an Italian film and television actress. Cervi was born in Rome, Italy. She is the daughter of director Tonino Cervi and granddaughter of actor Gino Cervi. Her mother is the Italian producer of Austrian-Hungarian origin Marina Gefter. Cervi started her acting career at age ten in Carlo Cotti's 1986 film ''Portami la luna''. She also played an English-language role in Jane Campion's 1996 ''The Portrait of a Lady''. One of her most acclaimed roles was the lead in the 1997 film '' Artemisia'', directed by Agnès Merlet.
