Vitravo
The Vitravo is a river in the Calabria region of southern Italy. The source of the river is in the province of Cosenza near the border with the province of Crotone. The river forms the border between the two provinces for a short distance before entering the province of Crotone. The Vitravo flows southeast near Verzino and Pallagorio before curving east. Neto (river)
The Neto ( Latin ''Neaethus'') is a river in Calabria, southern Italy. It is the second largest river of Calabria after the Crati. Geography The Neto rises in the central Sila Mountains in the province of Cosenza. Its source is at Timpone Sorbella at an elevation of 1,850 meters, near Botte Donato, the highest peak in the Sila Mountains. The river flows east into Lago di Ariamacina before curving southeast. The Neto is joined by a right tributary, the Arvo, at San Giovanni in Fiore. The river is joined by another right tributary, the Ampollino, where it crosses into the province of Crotone near Cotronei and Caccuri. Pallagorio ( sq, Puhëriu, Calabrese: ''Paragùriu '') is a ''comune'' and town in the province of Crotone, in Calabria, Italy. History The village and the surrounding area have been inhabited since the Neolithic; there are numerous caves scattered in the territory, including the so-called "Cave of St. Maurice" of palaeontological interest. In the second millennium BC, the area was settled by the Oenotrian- Italic population of the ''Chone'', who left traces of their presence both in toponyms and with devotional objects found throughout the area. Archaeological remains from the early 1st millennium are found all over the area surrounding the town. Gulf Of Taranto
The Gulf of Taranto ( it, Golfo di Taranto; Tarantino: ; la, Sinus Tarentinus) is a gulf of the Ionian Sea, in Southern Italy. The Gulf of Taranto is almost square, long and wide, making it the largest gulf in Italy, and it is delimited by the capes Santa Maria di Leuca (to the east, in Apulia) and Colonna (the ancient ''Lacinium'', to the west, in Calabria), encompassed by the three regions of Apulia, Basilicata and Calabria.
