Vitello (film)
''Vitello'' is a 2018 animated comedy-drama film directed by Dorte Bengtson in her directorial debut, and co-written by Bengtson and Kim Fupz Aakeson. It is based on a series of children's books by the same name by Aakeson and Niels Bo Bojesen. The voice cast includes Samuel Søby Bang as the titular character and Sidse Babett Knudsen as his mother, along with Bodil Jørgensen, Nicolaj Kopernikus, and Birthe Neumann. ''Vitello'' was co-produced by SellOutPictures and Lars von Trier's production company Zentropa Entertainments. It was screened at the 72nd Edinburgh International Film Festival. Zentropa Entertainments
Zentropa, or Zentropa Entertainments, is a Danish film company started in 1992 by director Lars von Trier and producer Peter Aalbæk Jensen. Zentropa is named after the train company Zentropa in the film '' Europa'' (1991), which started the collaboration between von Trier and Jensen. History It has produced over 70 feature films and has become the largest film production company in Scandinavia. It owns a number of subsidiary companies in Europe. Zentropa is also responsible for creating a large studio complex called '' Filmbyen'' (Film City), where both Zentropa and many other film-related companies are located. Morten Grunwald
Walter Morten Grunwald (9 December 1934 – 14 November 2018) was a Danish actor, stage director and theatre manager. Early life and education He was born in Odense, Denmark, attended Odense Theatrical School in 1958, and graduated from the Royal Danish Theatre's Theatrical School in 1962. Beginning in 1971, he was the manager of several theatres in Copenhagen. Career Grunwald made his debut in ''En blandt mange'' ("One among many") in 1961. He played one of the lead roles in the popular series of '' Olsen Gang'' movies, starring as Benny Frandsen, alongside Ove Sprogøe's Egon Olsen and Poul Bundgaard's Kjeld Jensen. Grunwald founded and led Bristol Teatret in Copenhagen from 1971 to 1980. In 1979, Grunwald succeeded Bent Meiding as manager of the Betty Nansen Theatre, a post he held until 1992. The Robert Award ( da, Robert prisen) is a Danish film prize awarded each year by the Danish Film Academy. It is the Danish equivalent of the American Oscars, British BAFTAs for films and Australian AACTA Awards. Paul Hüttel (born 13 July 1935) is a Danish actor. He has appeared in over 50 films and television shows since 1960. The Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) is a film festival that runs for two weeks in June each year. Established in 1947, it is the world's oldest continually running film festival. EIFF presents both UK and international films (all titles are World, International, European, UK or Scottish Premieres), in all genres and lengths. It also presents themed retrospectives and other specialized programming strands. The festival is run by the Centre for the Moving Image.
