Vitantonio "Tonio" Liuzzi (born 6 August 1980) is an Italian former racing driver who competed in Formula One from to . Born and raised in Metropolitan City of Bari, Bari, Liuzzi began competitive kart racing aged nine. After a successful karting career—culminating in his victory at the KF1, direct-drive Karting World Championship in 2001—Liuzzi graduated to formula racing, junior formulae. He won his first title at the 2004 International Formula 3000 Championship with Arden International, Arden. Liuzzi competed in Formula One for Red Bull Racing, Red Bull, Scuderia Toro Rosso, Toro Rosso, Force India and HRT F1, HRT, scoring 26 championship points across six seasons. The 2011 Malaysian Grand Prix (formally the 2011 Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix) was a Formula One motor race held on 10 April 2011 at the Sepang International Circuit in Selangor, Malaysia. It was the second round of the 2011 Formula One season. The 56-lap race was won by Red Bull Racing driver Sebastian Vettel after starting from pole position. The Superstars International Series was a production-based touring car racing championship held between 2004 and 2013. It was managed by the "Superstars World of Racing SpA", SWR, a company of FG Group with headquarters in Rome and sanctioned by the Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI) and the Commissione Sportiva Automobilistica Italiana (CSAI). 2014 Super Formula Championship
The 2014 Japanese Championship Super Formula season was the forty-second season of the premier series in Japanese open-wheel motor racing, and the second under the name of Super Formula. 2014 was also the first season using the new chassis, the Dallara SF14, which replaced the Swift SF09 used in previous seasons. The 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship season was the fourth season of the FIA World Endurance Championship auto racing series, co-organized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). 2014–15 Formula E Championship
The 2014–15 FIA Formula E Championship was the inaugural season of Formula E, a new FIA championship for electrically powered cars. It began on 13 September 2014 at Beijing in China and finished on 28 June 2015 in London after eleven races. Nelson Piquet Jr. came first in the overall standings, and so became the first ever Formula E champion. The car For the first season, all teams were supplied an electric racing car built by Spark Racing Technology, called the Spark-Renault SRT 01E. The chassis was designed by Dallara, with an electric motor developed by McLaren (the same as that used in its P1 supercar), a battery system created by Williams Grand Prix Engineering and a Hewland five-speed gearbox. The Formula Renault Northern European Cup (formerly Formula Renault 2.0 NEC) was a Formula Renault 2.0 championship originally held in Northern Europe (Germany, Netherlands and Belgium), but has expanded over the years to the whole of Europe. The series was created in 2006 to merge the Formula Renault 2.0 Germany created in 1991 and the Formula Renault 2.0 Netherlands created in 2003. The series was due to be rebranded as FormulaNEC but was folded prior 2019 due to lack of interest from drivers. The Formula Renault NEC is organised by its promoter MdH Consultants AG.
